Thirty new Area Authority Seventies were called by the First Presidency and sustained at general conference April 6. The new leaders are:

D. Allen Andersen

D. Allen Andersen, Hong Kong, China; managing director, Asia, PAMA Group; recently serving as president of the Hong Kong International District; former bishop; wife: Jill; three children.

David S. Baxter

David S. Baxter, Suffolk, England; director of BT Group; recently serving as vice chairman of the London Key Cities program; served as stake president, in mission presidency, stake presidency and bishop; wife: Dianne; four children.

C. Elmer Black

C. Elmer Black, Clinton, Miss., AVP Underwriting and Training, Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Co.; recently serving as a ward Primary teacher; former stake president and counselor, high councilor and bishop; wife: Doris Marie; one child.

G. Lynn Brenchley

G. Lynn Brenchley, Providence, Utah; executive vice president, ICON Health & Fitness Inc.; recently released as high priests group leader; former president, Australia Melbourne West Mission, 1998-2001, stake president's counselor and bishop; wife: Villa; five children.

Clayton M. Christensen

Clayton M. Christensen, Belmont, Mass., professor, Harvard Business School; recently serving in the presidency of the Massachusetts Boston Mission; former bishop; wife: Christine; five children.

Ernesto A. B. Da Silva

Hector A. Davalos

Ildefonso de Castro Deus

James Dunlop

James Dunlop, Palmerston North, New Zealand; scientist, AgResearch Grasslands; currently patriarch of the Palmerston North New Zealand Stake; former regional representative, stake president and bishop; wife: Frances; five children.

James M. Dunn

James M. Dunn, Salt Lake City, Utah; retired attorney; recently released as president of the Salt Lake University 2nd Stake (since 2000); former president of the Colombia Bogota Mission, 1980-1983, stake president's counselor, high councilor and bishop; wife: Sandra; six children.

I. Lee Ence
