The rigorous nature of this outdoor summer pageant requires that core cast members be experienced, faithful LDS performers demonstrating a high degree of maturity, flexibility and willingness to work long hours. Once cast, candidates must also receive their bishops' recommendations.

Rehearsals for core cast members will be every Sunday evening in May and the first two Sundays in June (for those who live in the Utah area). Daily rehearsals begin June 11-18 in Salt Lake City, and then continue in Nauvoo until the end of the pageant. The pageant opens July 5 and closes July 30. Core cast members will receive a modest honorarium and the pageant will provide support for travel to and from Nauvoo, as well as accommodations while in Nauvoo.

Auditions will be held in North Salt Lake, Utah, on Jan.15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Jan. 20, 6 to 10 p.m. Auditions will also be held in Provo, Utah on Jan. 18-19 from 6 to 10 p.m. Callbacks are scheduled Jan. 21 and 22 in North Salt Lake, Utah.

To schedule auditions and find the addresses for the auditions, please call (801) 240-6492 or (800) 453-3860 ext. 2-6492.
